Amfori BSCI
The amfori Business Social Compliance Initiative [amfori BSCI, founded in 2003 as Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI)] is a program of the business-related association amfori to improve social standards in a global value chain. The organization, based in Brussels, offers commercial companies the adoption or adherence to a code of conduct as well as a systematic monitoring and qualification system. This code is based on international treaties to protect workers' rights and covers the following eleven key elements: management practices, no objectionable employment, working hours, remuneration, child labor, forced labor (including prison labor and coercive measures), freedom of assembly (including freedom of organization and freedom to collective bargaining), discrimination (gender , race, religion), working conditions, health and social facilities, health and safety at work (occupational safety), aspects of environmental protection and special protection of young employees.
Made from recycled material
For this product and/or packaging, the device, or parts thereof, are made from recycled raw materials. This process is more environmentally friendly because the raw materials do not have to be extracted again at great expense. Yogurt cups, disposable bottles, plastic waste and foil packaging are included in the production cycle through recycling.
