Lighting duration & batteries – The maximum lighting duration depends on the energy of the sun rays that hit the solar panel and also on the wattage of the light. The solar energy varies in strength depending on the weather and the time of year. The manufacturer specifies the maximum possible lighting duration that can be achieved in ideal weather conditions. These maximum values decrease the less solar energy the solar panel can absorb. Please also note that the built-in "batteries" cannot be replaced with standard batteries. The built-in batteries are the rechargeable battery that is charged via the solar panel. This charging process is not possible with conventional batteries.
